- IIngeborgSeattle / Eastern Washington •6 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoThis review addresses the Christmas eve buffet ONLY. The minuses: The Buffet area set up was lackluster. The blintzes for the caviar were miniature size. The Tempura asparagus had a taste of the frying oil. The Vegetable Gratin seems to have been sitting too long and was cold. The charcuterie and cheese boards were uninspiring . The tiny steak tartar/tuna bites very tasty but too small to enjoy with the crust. Desserts were plenty and pretty, but none was outstanding or memorable. Thee Beef Wellington was cooked well done and not available medium or medium rare, the crust was falling off and it lacked taste. The plusses: Service was attentive and excellent. The live music was very enjoyable and our table had a beautiful view. However, for the $150.00 per person (without drinks) I was expecting to have, at least, a properly cooked Wellington, and maybe one dish that was truly VOW!More infoBellpine at The Ritz-Carlton PortlandPrice: Very Expensive• American• Northwest Portland•4.6

Ensalata Nostrana and Pizza with extra fixings are a great standby; last night we got the Papardelle as well, so good! Excellent wine list and the Tiramisu is a perfect way to end the meal.More infoNostranaPrice: Expensive• Italian• Southeast Portland•4.7
- GGeorgeVIPNebraska •10 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoSeriously, one of the best restaurant meals I’ve ever had. We shared apps, small plates, and entrees, (plus a couple desserts) and I can’t tell you what was the best dish, or even the top 2 or 3. All were wonderful. Need a complaint? The wine was so-so and the guys at the next table wore smelly cologne. But the food was imaginative, dynamic and delicious. Star anise in onion soup. A new requirement in my house!More infoL'OrangePrice: Very Expensive• Mediterranean• Southeast Portland•4.9

The drinks were delicious. The place was packed and we all could easily hear each other. This is a must go to place in Portland.More infoJankenPrice: Very Expensive• Creative Japanese• Pearl District•4.7
