- DDr GeorgePhiladelphia County •41 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe’ve been going to Sullivan’s since 1997! It’s our go to bar restaurant! Awesome ambience, service is usually top notch, their signature “Knock Out” Martini is the best around! For a period since 2020 the restaurant went shall I say, down hill… clientele to service but over the past year or so it’s made a tremendous comeback! No it’s not “top of the line Del Frisco’s” but for a time there it was along the lines but then dropped to an average restaurant. I think the menu has improved, the service definitely improved but I miss the svelte waitresses in black skirts & fancy tights & the waiters that were also so called “eye candy” as my wife and daughter put it. Although they’ve made the restaurant for the “common folk” it’s missing its luster but it’s coming back I think . Anyway, Alyssa our waitress tonight was “Better than the meal and drinks” she made the night! Her service was impeccable, over the top and outstanding. She was conscientious, observant and pleasant! By far the “BEST” service we’ve had there in a few years! The girl deserves a raise but not a promotion b/c we need her serving no managing! But “show her the MONEY!” I’ll be requesting Alyssa from now on!!! and I have a huge referral base! Doc & PamMore infoSullivan's Steakhouse - WilmingtonPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Wilmington•4.5

- JJanisPhiladelphia County •3 reviews5.0Dined on 23 Dec 2024Piccolina Toscana has been a favorite restaurant of mine since they first opened decades ago. Food is consistently good, new items often appear on the menu and the preparations are always flavorful and interesting. When newcomers move to or visit Wilmington and ask for a restaurant recommendation, I always refer them to Piccolina Toscana because I know they will have a memorable experience. Pasta's are phenomenal, thin crust pizzas are savory and delicious, fish dishes are cooked to perfection and side dishes are always interesting Dan Butler, owner and chef, takes pride in his restaurant and knows what his customers like. He has great take out menus, does catering, and tonight in honor of an Italian Christmas tradition, he included a pre-fixe "Feast of of the Seven Fishes' to his regular menu which is what I ordered. From the tuna tartar to the cod in lemon and the house made fettuccini with spinach, each bite was bursting with flavor. Thank you Dan Butler!! You always get it right!!More infoPiccolina ToscanaPrice: Moderate• Italian• Wilmington•4.6
