I started in my grandfather’s restaurant & worked my way up to running one of the most successful restaurants in NYC - Patsy’s Italian Restaurant. My grandfather worked his way up in the restaurant industry in the 1930's and '40s and in 1942 opened his first Italian restaurant, The Sorrento. When it came time to name our new restaurant, we decided on IL Sorrento in honor of my grandfather. I know my grandparents & my mom are smiling down on us with approval. I've lived in Westchester since 1984 & have always dreamed about opening an Italian restaurant here .. now the dream is a reality. We arrived and the place was overrun with people waiting for a table but we got a drink and were seated in the main dining just over a half hour. Service was excellent, portions are large, and the food was delicious. Steak for 3 could serve 4 or 5 people. Flavor of each dish was very tasty. I enjoyed lobster bisque and Cesar salad, and appetizer crab cakes, which had almost no filler. Leftovers are good too. Christmas Eve success.

Peter's is our favorite steak restaurant in Westchester. The food is delicious and the service is super attentive. Peter, as always, is a gracious host. Add in the intimate setting, where you can actually carry on a conversation, and you have a perfect night out.

I have spent many birthday celebrations at Jewel of Himalaya and it never disappoints. Love their food. Love their service. And especially love how they help you celebrate your birthday with a sparkling candle, Nepalese gong and masks, and serenade you with the Happy Birthday song. Thank you Jewel. You helped make my birthday and my friend’s birthday very special.
