Best Fine Dining Restaurants in Merrick Park

Great food, cocktails and service always. Neighborhood gem!

Many patrons are going to the Gables Stage Theater on the Hotel premises. The shows begin at 7:30PM but the restaurant does not open until 6:00PM. There was a crowd of over 40 people waiting for a table at 6:00. I would think that restaurant management would figure out that when there are performances at the theater, they should open the restaurant at 5:30.

We were four people celebrating my birthday. My waiter was Maykel and he was fantastic. Everyone who works there has a great attitude, all willing to help the other, which is very unusual for a restaurant like this. It was a pleasant surprise and made my birthday super special. The food is meticulously done in such nice taste. Everything has a beautiful presentation. This is not the restaurant where you come starving because the portions are small but delicious. Every bite is an explosion of taste in your mouth. We ordered 12 different appetizers all amazing. The most impressive thing about this restaurant was the service and the energy inside. It’s just a great ambience. There was a fire dancer. The mood is fun. Thank you so much for making my birthday special.

Will definitely return. Only negative was that even though the A/C was working, the restaurant was still very hot. Good and service was good.

It was our first time trying Indian food. I'm glad we ventured outside our comfort zone. We were pleasantly surprised with the great tasting dishes. We asked the waiter to go easy on us with the spices and he went outside the normal menu and got the chef to make us two special dishes (that was awesome service). The lamb dish was very good, they didn't have that gamey taste. The chicken dish was made with 3 different types of sauces (awesome too)! The rice was amazing (best rice I have ever had). Definitely will be coming back.
