Best Fine Dining Restaurants in Ivanhoe

What an amazing experience dining at Dante is! We celebrated our son's 25th birthday there and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our time there. The staff were extremely helpful, engaging and professional! The food and beverage options were extensive without being over the top and the helpful recommendations offered allowed us to fully enjoy the range of dishes we selected from the menu. It was a wonderful surprise to find out it's a family owned and operated establishment with many of the menu items produced in house from home grown produce! The freshness of the food, the wonderful flavours and the impeccable presentation ensured we enjoyed everything on our plates. The ambience of the venue is another highlight! There was a real buzz about the place without it being overbearing! The very large teddy bear behind our table, dressed in Christmas colours, was another highlight and talking point! It proved very popular with patrons, us included, who lined up for photos with it! It added to the fun and enjoyment of our evening at Dante. We'd highly recommend Dante to anyone looking for a great place to eat delicious food, be looked after by incredible people and enjoy a wonderful space that makes the whole experience memorable!

Lovely spot and great food and wine. I’ve just been alerted to the fact that Zingara is Italian for Gypsy and the venue is the old Gypsy Bar! Clever!! G

Excellent experience. Service was prompt without being oppressive. Food choices great and suit all tastes and dietary requirements. Atmosphere was relaxed and quiet.

Trying to book a table for St Georges is the only road block. If you can get in, its a brilliant experience. The students are delightful, the food amazing.
