- MMelinavipLos Angeles •1 review5.0Dined todayOur dinner at Le Deux Bistro was exceptional. The service was spot on, and the bistro food was very reflective of a Parisienne bistro. It is refreshing to have such a little gem in suburban Woodland Hills. The wine list had a nice assortment of French and California wines. It was not a big list, but enough to have fun. The stemware was also appropriate if you wanted to bring your own quality bottle of Burgundy or Bordeaux in. The olives, the mussels, the baguette, and the beef Bourgogne all hit the spot. My only suggestion would be to add more French motif decorations, or a large bouquet of flowers in the center of the dining room to add more ambiance. Will absolutely be back again!More infoDeux BistroPrice: Expensive• French• Woodland Hills•4.7
- JJoanLos Angeles •21 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoIf you have a special occasion to celebrate, Verse should be your choice. We celebrated my b-day, and so did the table next to us and an anniversary two tables away. I gave 5 stars in all areas except the value, and only because the menu is quite pricey. We ordered Melamente, Pancho and MADD city cocktails; excellent creations. Following most of the reviews, we had the milk buns and octopus as appetizers. For dinner entrees, husband ordered the Branzino and I Crab Capanelli. We were not disappointed with the appetizers. Milk buns melt in your mouth; the whipped brown butter has the perfect sweetness. The octopus was cooked perfectly; so tender. I don't know how the chef came up with all the different sauces on the octopus but oh so delicious. So husband was a little disappointed with the Branzino as it was fairly plain when compared to the octopus. The crab capanelli was cooked al dente and the sauce was creamy with the right amount of saltiness. The toasted almonds added the unexpected crunch and well combined with the richness of the sauce. The only neg here is that it was difficult to locate the crab; the chef should really double up on the amount. Service was excellent as expected; ambiance - not too dark with just enough lighting to read the menu; and the live band added extra points to this special occasion. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience.More infoVersePrice: Very Expensive• American• Toluca Lake•4.8

The pasta was homemade and cooked to perfection (Al dente of course) Highly recommend everything on the menu.More infoPosto 896 Italian & Hungarian CuisinePrice: Moderate• Hungarian• Encino•4.8
- CChristineLos Angeles •4 reviews5.0Dined on 12 Oct 2024When we arrived this nice young lady assisted us to our table and even asked if we had preference for different tables. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. Understood exactly what we wanted and check on us in a very discreet way (I appreciate this because sometimes it can be too much). Food was great, recommend the Queso fundido and the Tetelas. The guava and passion fruit margaritas low on sugar are amazing, and the little popsicle that comes with it makes it so flavorful and fun.
