- JJustinvipLos Angeles •16 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThis is an exceptional restaurant. We had a really great server named Sonny. They only do lunch during December. It was a real treat to do this meal in the middle of the day. The price tag for two people was astronomical, however. (They offered us a 60 ounce Japanese Wagyu tomahawk steak for $650, for example. We passed.). That being said, in the end, it was well worth the price in my opinion.More infoGrill 23 & BarPrice: Very Expensive• Steak• Back Bay•4.8

Were greeted by our server as soon as seated Lovely warm dinner rolls arrived, wine was ordered and dinner ordered. Water glass was always promptly refilled. Dinner arrived and was up to the Abe and Louie's standards. Rib Eyes MR with blue cheese fondue, sides of scalloped potatoes, and sautéed mushrooms were all wonderful. Our waiter was very attentive and we had everything we needed going along. Topped off dinner with the chocolate layer cake that came with vanilla ice creme, large size allowed us to share one. As always Abe and Louie came thru with a great meal and memory.More infoAbe & Louie’s - BostonPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Back Bay•4.8

Tables are VERY close together - zero privacy from neighbors. Decor is vibrant, warm, and rich with natural light. The tight spacing, noise level, and variable food quality eclipse the good parts of Contessa.More infoContessa - BostonPrice: Expensive• Italian• Back Bay•4.8

Out server was so very warm and generous with her time, helping us navigate the menu and sharing tips about the city, which we had never visited before. My only regret is that we should have come with a better appetite or a few friends so we had an excuse to order several more items. We dine out a lot, some very fancy and of course many that are great, but not fancy. Sorellina ranks among the best restaurants we’ve visited in cities from Paris to Seattle, Miami to Montreal.More infoSorellina BostonPrice: Moderate• Italian• Back Bay•4.8
