This year we are a little late but it was well worth the wait. As always the dining room is absolutely gorgeous as it is decorated to the nines. We arrived and were seated in a prime location -right by the fireplace. A phone call earlier in the day assured us that we wound be able to secure two orders of their baccala salad for our appertizers. Richard ordered a bottle of Moet Chandon Imperial Rose and the evening was off to a fine start. As we enjoyed our first course, our waiter began to prepare our entrees tableside. Fettuccine Alfredo and Steak Diane. Both were prepared perfectly and the presentation was show worthy. Richard had the special for the evening-Alaskan cod with mango salsa and black lentils. A piece of cheesecake and coffee finished the meal perfectly. It was an evening of serenity, fantastic food and drink and love. Pure magic🪄.More infoCapriccioPrice: Expensive• Italian• Providence•4.7

The experience of going to capital grille for a special occasion is exceptional. You are made to feel so special and catered too. Will be back again, and absolutely loved our experience from food, to service, and ambiance.More infoThe Capital Grille - ProvidencePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Providence•4.9

We were seated in the dining room, however the bar area has a first come first served policy if you don't have a reservation, but i prefer the dining room. Spotlessly clean throughout, super friendly servers who are also knowledgeable about the menu items with very good explanation of the specials. There were so many specials i wanted it was hard to choose, however, i went with the seasonal pumpkin ravioli with a sage cream sauce which was one of the appetizer specials, and i'm so glad i did, it was one of the best i've had, soft pillows of pasta filled with sweet pumpkin bathed in a beautiful cream sauce, I contemplated ordering it again as a dinner! We also had seafood stuffed mushrooms and fresh shucked oysters, all were outstanding. For mains we managed to snag the last of the lamb shank Oso Bocco and it was also incredible, we also had chicken and sausage in cream sauce, filet mignon and a veal dish, it is impossible to pick a winner they were all winners! Love this place and really looking forward to returning soon. PS - the bread is to die for too!More infoLuciano'sPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Wrentham•4.8
- AAlejandroNew York City •4 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoI’m a big fan of Camille’s on Federal Hill in Providence. I’ve eaten there several times and am never disappointed. Mind you Federal Hill is famous for its restaurants, and although I’ve tried many, Camille’s is my favorite. Ambience is smart guy speakeasy. Service is impeccable with knowledgeable and helpful staff. Food is well prepared and tasty. I had the pappardelle with bolognese sauce. I’ve had it before and it was so good that I couldn’t wait to have it again. My brother had the crab ravioli, which he loved and cleaned his plate. His wife also loved her shrimp scampi. My date ordered the sogliola alla mugnaia. It was a pretty large portion, so she was happy to give me a taste and it was incredible. Overall, Camille’s checks all the boxes and will not disappoint! The special gnocchi appetizer (with wild hen-of-the-woods mushrooms and roasted Brussel sprouts) was to-die-for; it was that good. The house rigatoni entree 'exploded' with flavor with each bite and the duck was perfect; crispy outside and tender inside. As usual, all the special touches that Gracie's is known for just made the evening special (anniversary dinner).More infoGracie'sPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Providence•4.9
