Best Fine Dining Restaurants in The Colony

Beautiful and special. When someone is searching for a feeling of meaning sometimes beautiful and delicious fills the void. I did truly enjoy my experience and meal.

We had a wonderful experience at Trulucks! We were slightly disappointed due to the 20 minute wait when we arrived, especially since we had a reservation but the staff did an amazing job to make us feel welcomed. Once seated we had an envelope on our table congratulating us on our anniversary! Every person that came by our table that night congratulated us, and we appreciated the gesture. The food was amazing. We started with the calamari appetizer which was sweet and spicy and the sauce was *chef’s kiss*. My husband then went for the lobster bisque and I had the Sonoma greens salad, again both selections were great. We opted for the petite versions Redfish (me) and Seared shrimp/scallops (husband) and we were happy with the size. I preferred the scallops and shrimp plate but again both were delicious. After our meal we were surprised with a Baked Alaska that said Happy Anniversary. Wonderful surprise! We finished the night with a couple of delicious cappuccinos that come with a tasty cookie! The one downer to the restaurant is that it is definitely loud due to the layout, BUT this did not take away from our experience.

Had an amazing dinner at Uchiko Plano last night! Our server Sanam was absolutely incredible. She really knew her stuff and made the whole experience so special with her warm personality and great recommendations. Thanks to her attentive service and genuine care, we felt like VIP guests. If you're heading to Uchiko Plano, definitely ask for Sanam - she'll make your night!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Went on a Monday night and it was blissfully serene in the place. Lights are a little dim for some older patrons but to have a quiet dinner was fantastic, its hard to find these days. Prices are typical for a high end dinner so don't be surprised. It is not a rushed pace for dining which is also very nice. Will certainly be back.

We were seated promptly on the far end of the restaurant overlooking the lake. We ordered a couple of cocktails, and they were good. The curry leaf chicken kebabs and the truffle and wild mushroom kulcha were really tasty appetizers. The kebabs were flavorful and juicy. For the main course we had the fenugreek paneer, kerala beef fry and the seafood moilee. For dessert, we tried the carrot halwa cake. Everything turned out great. Our server Emma was attentive. We had a very good experience at Windmills.
