Ospi is the sophomore restaurant of Jackson & Melissa Kalb, focused on Southern Italian cooking and way of life. The name derives from ospitante (“host” in Italian), with the expectation that guests will feel as comfortable at Ospi as they would at a friend’s dinner party. There will be plenty of house-made pastas as well as an expanded offering of pizzas. The beverage program crafted by Kalb features mostly Californian and Southern Italian wines and a full bar with a special negroni section. I left my black leather gloves on a two-two at Terra's patio on 12/25 about 10:00 P.M. I've called and called. I've emailed. I even made faux reservations with the hope that the hostess will read and do something. What's wrong with people in hospitality today? Does the fish stink from the head down in this case?

We came for their Christmas Day dinner. It was unbelievable as every dish was 5 stars. Their steak is a must. Butternut squash soap is delicious and obviously you can’t go wrong with their milk bread.

We had a nice Christmas Eve dinner here. The food was excellent as usual, however it was served family style and since there was only the two of us, it was too much food! We took about one-half of it home, but I think there should have been a choice of appetizers and entrees offered.

It was our first time at this restaurant, My Family and I enjoyed a nice Christmas Eve dinner it was perfect and very delicious. I loved that after dinner we walked over to the bakery to take dessert and some pastries home to enjoy at our home. We can’t wait to come back.
