Beauty & Essex has an innovative design that starts in the restaurant’s entrance, a well-curated modern-day pawn shop replete with a saxophone, boombox, quirky artifacts, vintage treasures, and an eclectic array of “one-off” pieces of jewelry. Continuing past the pawnshop, guests encounter a grand, circular staircase wrapped around a two-story custom chandelier, but only the adventurous will discover all that Beauty & Essex has to offer. I absolutely love this restaurant. I’ve been twice now and have had the best experiences sitting at the bar just taking it all in. The energy is calm but assured, the food is absolutely incredible and at the heart of the whole operation is the wine. This is a restaurant that pairs food to the wine and if you’re a wine lover like me, it’s an excellent educational experiences! All of the stars for Chambers.

Very cool upscale concept. Was decorated beautifully. The food was cooked to perfection. Loved the eggplant I highly recommend. Also ordered a tomahawk steak flavor was so good. One suggestion would be take crispy bits off the tomahawk. It’s presentation would be better. Would definitely return!

We went at lunchtime so restaurant was pretty empty. The service was excellent! Especially Ricardo! Food was delicious and plentiful! We had a great time! The only issue was the address was a bit confusing as the restaurant entrance was actually on E 19th which was not specified. Would highly recommend!!
