- LLuis GHouston •5 reviews4.0Dined todayDinner with the family , the food was good , different flavors , a little rushed service -but overall a good experience . Upon setting the bill I was charged a service tip of 40% , which I will dispute with Amex. I did not authorize such a charge. Costumer be aware, check the final tip charge. That practice is illegal, fraudulent and in poor business image !More infoRoka Akor - HoustonPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• River Oaks•4.7

Beautiful restaurant w special details everywhere down to the cutlery, glasses and beautiful cocktails along w food presentation. Our server was very professional, efficient and friendly, especially being it was a holiday. I cannot remember her name but she made our experience that much better! Only complaint was we arrived at 5pm and were told cocktails and wine was half off, which we found generous. However when our check arrived, my dirty martini was not half off and quite pricey, nor was my red wine. When my husband mentioned the fact, server said ordered after HH ended, but not the case! We got our check at 7:11 and I ordered my martini upon arrival and my wine around 6:20. So something went wrong w the drink prices but my husband’s both drinks were HH prices. We will definitely return!More infoMaKiinPrice: Very Expensive• Thai• Upper Kirby / Shepherd Corridor•4.6

Our drinks were tasty, cold & strong! The food was fantastic- we had avocado dip and deviled eggs for appetizers and the Ahi Tuna Salad and Blackened Redfish entrees. Loved the ambiance and decor too!More infoHudson House - River OaksPrice: Moderate• American• River Oaks•4.7
- MMichaelVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •5 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe've eaten at Rumi's 4 times in the past year, and have found it to be remarkably consistent. Lots of interesting and unique dishes; tremendously helpful and well-trained servers; you never feel rushed. The dining room is gorgeous. I expect this restaurant to be here a long time.More infoRumi's Kitchen - HoustonPrice: Expensive• Persian• Galleria / Uptown•4.8
- TTeresaAustin •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe arrived a little early for our reservation. We got a very friendly and informative greeting, and then we sat at the bar to have some drinks and look at the menu while we waited. Everyone was helpful and informative, including our main server. Here's what we got: Bangkok 75 My favorite of the drinks we had. Very dry but tasty and a great accompaniment to some of the richer food we had. STK Old Fashioned I was intrigued by the tobacco, but now I know that is not something I need to seek out. However, it was a good drink and was as described. The Sukhumvit A nice tasty cocktail. I might enjoy this one if I were not eating food alongside it, but as a pairing for a meal, it was more competitive than complimentary. Not a dig on the cocktail, just saying I think it is better on its own. Lamb Shank Massaman This was super tasty and rich without being heavy or overwhelming. Such a balanced dish with so many good flavors. I would love to have this again. It was not served with a knife, and in retrospect, I don't know why we didn't ask for one since we did get one with the Khao Soi. Khao soi Sounded great and I'm glad we tried it, but it was maybe my least favorite dish that we tried. It was good, it just wasn't up to how excellent the other dishes were. The beef was in large pieces in the bowl and was a little difficult to wrangle. They did bring one knife for the table, but maybe each person could use a knife. Pad See Ew Another amazing dish. I especially loved the texture of the noodles. I would get this again for sure. Garlic Green Beans Very good! Good combination of textures and flavors. Curry corn cake I did not try these, but the people who did thought they were ok. They said they would not get them again. Like with other things, they weren't bad, there were just better things. Mango Sticky Rice I really enjoyed this. The rice was perfect, and I appreciated that it was not super sweet. The savory notes along with the perfect mango were great.More infoStreet To KitchenPrice: Expensive• Thai• East End•4.7
