In the 1950's our grandfather, Giacomo, came to live the American Dream. He moved from Saviano, Italy to live in Long Island, New York. He met his wife and started a family, opening their first location in Long Island, New York, named Village Pizza. As business flourished, we moved to a larger location and changed the name to Alfieri Brothers’ Pizzeria. Again, we outgrew the size of the restaurant and relocated to a larger side of the center where we have remained since 1991. ​ The following year, Saverio Alfieri decided to head south and expand the family business by opening a location in North Texas. Since then, Saverio and his two sons, Anthony and Giacomo, have managed to create one of Dallas/Ft. Worth’s best kept secrets. The Alfieri family has and will continue to serve authentic Italian recipes perfected by Grandma Alfieri herself.

La Bistro Italian Restaurant, in Hurst has been serving fine cuisine with passion and knowhow in its elegant and inviting eatery for 38 years! Homemade pastas, such as the 16 layer baked lasagna or the fettuccine primavera with spring veggies in a creamy sauce and the pan-seared Chilean Sea Bass are some of the diners’ favorite meals. La Bistro Italian Restaurant’s house specialties include the chicken La Bistro with portobello mushrooms and shallots in a brandy dill sauce, the veal Jerusalem sautéed with artichoke hearts and fresh garlic and the filet mignon madeira in a luscious wine and mushroom sauce. La Bistro is one of a small handful of restaurants in the DFW area that dry-ages it's beef in-house.     It was a busy day at the Rirz but we settled into our regular table with ease and quickly put in our order with Alexis who confidentially handled our table of 4 along with a party of 20 with professional aplomb.The homemade pasta was delicious as always especially when accompanied by by an order of eggs scrambled with chives and jalapeños. A side of grilled asparagus completed a delightful meal The Ritz is developing a sizable lunch crowd so reservations are in order

    It is a restaurant in a hotel… But it is probably the best restaurant in a chain hotel. The quality of the food, the quality of service, and the atmosphere make it far more pleasant than the typical hotel restaurant. Kudos to the grand Hyatt and the grand Matt and their management and staff. I live in Dallas and still go there to eat once in a while because of this.

    Bacchus is a favorite of mine so I brought my coworker here that was in town for the week. She complimented how beautiful the ambience was and we all agreed that the food was delicious! Our server was friendly and very knowledgeable of the menu, providing great suggestions. Looking forward to my next visit!
