Exceptional steakhouse. From when I walked in until I walked out the service, food and drink was outstanding. We sat at the bar for a cocktail before being seated and the staff and ambiance were great. I highly recommend Manny’s to anyone dining downtown Minneapolis.

We had a delicious lunch. We shared three pizzas and an entree called Juk served in a bowl. The jasmine rice in the bottom of the bowl was like a warm porridge. It was so filling on a cold day. The short rib meat on the Juk was very tender. The shared entree was polished off. We opted for a spirit-free drink called El Santo because we were heading to a cookie decorating event afterward. The drink was delicious. The server recommended the drink, and she was spot on. We look forward to returning again.

It was all wonderful other than the manager. We had a party of 20 people to celebrate my engagement and my birthday. The staff welcoming were great but the manager seemed irritated when they told him we were there and gave us no welcome. I was instructed to arrive early and order before my guest arrive and that seemed like a problem to him as well. Again the staff and food was amazing aside from the manager who at the end decided to come in smiling like he did anything to make the visit pleasant. I ended up leaving a 25% cash tip on top of the 18% I already paid included with the meal I just hope it went to the right people.

I ordered the long rib, and it was hands-down one of the best steaks I’ve ever had—juicy, flavorful, and tender with just the right amount of smoke and molasses. The sides were equally fantastic; the brussels sprouts, butcher baked beans, and potato cakes paired beautifully with the meal. Don’t even get me started on the dessert—their long tart was the perfect sweet finale. What sets this steakhouse apart is the attention to detail. From the quality of the ingredients to the knowledgeable staff who guided us through wine pairings, every element felt thoughtfully curated. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just treating yourself to a great meal with friends, this steakhouse is worth every penny. Highly recommend!
