Best Family Style Restaurants in Financial District

I was joining my sister for a Birthday brunch. Unfortunately, I have celiac. However, the server went above and beyond to provide me different options to select as there was only one meal labelled gluten free. She also provided me with a complimentary mimosa and was very attentive despite it being quite busy over the holidays. I really appreciated the consideration given the challenge with my diet, and that my Birthday will always lay around the holidays. :)

Food was amazing, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. Drinks were fantastic, overall 10/10 experience. Must try the polenta fries, Brie brûlée, an amazing burger, pumpkin mac and cheese, and the beef tartare. Everything was outstanding! We’ll definitely be back!

The service and food was great. Only complaint is that we were seated by the window and it was extremely cold. I had to wear my coat.

Had a lovely dinner for two at Edna + Vita. The calamari fritti was delicious, crispy and the aioli was excellent. We also enjoyed the Apple and prosciutto salad was creamy, had great depth of flavour and wonderfully presented. Also highly recommend the brown butter gnocchi, it’s very difficult to find well made gnocchi outside of Italy. The sauce was flavourful, gnocchi was well formed, plump and fluffy. Excellent dinner and look forward to going again soon. The service was wonderful, attentive and friendly. The ambiance was warm, inviting and we had excellent view by the window on second floor.

Our server Al was top shelf. We trusted his recommendations and we were not disappointed. Attentive, friendly, and engaging, he made sure we had an amazing dining experience! Coupled with a great ambiance, will definitely come back
