Best Family Style Restaurants in Central Scottsdale

Really great experience at this restaurant. The server (can’t remember his name) from NY was outstanding and made the experience memorable. Loved the Baja tacos and the pumpkin bread pudding.

We were promptly seated on an indoor outdoor patio. All of the servers were attentive and friendly. The manager also checked on us a couple of times which was nice. It wasn’t intrusive. It was just a brief ‘Can I get you anything?’ which is always welcome. We ordered several appetizers, some noodles and a couple of entrées and just shared them with the table to get a taste of a bunch of different things. They did a great job at coursing out the food. The order was exactly as we had placed it. The timing was perfect and the food was very creative and delicious. The ambience is very cozy and charming. The restaurant wasn’t too loud, but it still had a good energy to it. My husband and I are debating if it is our new favorite restaurant in Phoenix. It is pretty exceptional in many ways. I highly recommend.

Delicious! The food was so good! We had the focaccia, crisp and dips accompanied great pairing. Our server Jay super knowledgeable. Offered suggestions! The few things I would say that were little was the confusion at the hostess stand and not a lot of smiles. Some of the uniforms seemed dingy and too small. The decor was beautiful-tile-wine wall-separate party room! A must when in Arizona!

I’ve had the pleasure of visiting Steak44 for many years, and it has never failed to impress me, thanks in no small part to the incredible service provided by the staff, especially Lauren (server) and Darrin (Manager). From the moment you walk in, Lauren makes you feel like at home. She has an uncanny ability to remember not just your name, but also your favorite dishes, and always go above and beyond to make your dining experience exceptional. Her attention to detail is unmatched— Darrin manages to strike that perfect balance of being attentive without ever being intrusive, making each visit feel personal and special. A true testament to the quality of service that has fostered an environment of warmth and professionalism.
