The Fishes is a hidden gem. Quite a big gem, too. An imposing Victorian building set in acres of wooded grounds leading down to the banks of Seacourt Stream. The deck that wraps around the conservatory offers a rare opportunity in land-locked Oxford to dine outside with an idyllic view.     fantastic manager who is so welcoming and helpful, even after having been there for 17 years! Always delivers on food - brilliant menu, with good quality ingredients simply cooked.     Fantastic food and a wonderful atmosphere! The quality of the food at The Bear of North Moreton was exceptional—everything tasted incredibly fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. Each dish was clearly made with care, using high-quality ingredients that really stood out. The balance of flavors was spot on, and the presentation made the meal feel extra special. Combined with the cozy setting and attentive service, it was an all-around amazing dining experience. Highly recommend!

    I chose the Greene Oak for a family birthday meal as the food never disappoints and we always receive great service. Today was no exception and they even did a small birthday dessert as a surprise which was much appreciated. We will be back again soon!
