Delicious fresh food, beautifully prepared and served.

We went there for my 50th Birthday. They service was on a different level, super excellent. The food was beyond this world and last but not the lease the drink menue is amazing. At the end they brought a delicious cheese cake with a candle and a happy birthday written on the plate. I'll be a regular now. Thanks to the team.

Great food, friendly and professional service, and a lovely, relaxed feel. We sat outside in the spring sunshine, soaking up the peace and quiet of the Common. Both diners had the burgers which were substantial and delicious, especially with the chunky hand-carved chips. For pudding, we had the creme brule and the apple and rhubarb crumble with vanilla custard - both were presented beautifully and in exactly the right proportions - not too big nor too small. We were both driving, so unable to take advantage of the tempting wines.

We came as a group of friends for my husbands birthday. Everyone's meal was fantastic. Only one slight problem was, the fries that came with my chicken Kiev were over done and inedible. If the Kiev had been served with the chunky chips the other dishes came with this would have been much better. Other than that everything was tip top
