Lovely staff. Great value, tasty hot food from the festive menu. Would recommend and would definately go for food again.

Very busy at The Hive today - it was Boxing Day after all! However this did impact on how long it took for food and drink order to be received which was longer than usual and sensed that other diners were needing to chase their orders. Food was as good as ever once received!

We ate here for Xmas Eve , we wanted somewhere that served delicious food but in a quiet atmosphere as we were with my elderly parents who are hard of hearing This restaurant was perfect in both ways, excellent tasty dishes well prepared and served. And not at all noisy , tables well spaced apart and we ate early so not busy either

As always great service and wonderful food at a very reasonable price. Given that it is 23rd December and the place was packed the staff were friendly, attentive and the service was excellent. We didn’t feel rushed and nothing was too much trouble.

A lovely pub lunch experience for my 70th birthday. With two small children, one asleep the whole time, it was an excellent venue. Lovely food. And no rushing us! Polite and attentive staff. Thank you all so much.
