The farm cheese is the best at Bavel. My husband and I also love the baba ghanoush (we always need an extra order of fried pita). The grilled dates have a nice kick to it and it was nice to eat a savory date for once. The lamb rack is always cooked to perfection. Our friend always orders the 26 oz ribeye and finishes it during dinner and my husband and I can see why. Nothing at Bavel disappointed us. I would recommend the cashew ice cream bar over the apple prune cake, but you really can't go wrong with either. It was a great dinner! Also every cheese and milk is pasteurized so despite being 6 months pregnant, I could eat everything!

The yakitori was perfectly grilled, with just the right amount of char and tenderness. The flavors were spot-on, and each skewer was a delightful burst of savory goodness. Next, I had the ramen. The broth was rich and flavorful, with a great depth that comes from hours of careful preparation. The noodles were perfectly cooked, and the toppings (from soft-boiled eggs to tender slices of pork) really elevated the dish. It's easily one of the best ramen bowls I've had. To round out the meal, I enjoyed a glass of cold sake. It was smooth and refreshing, a perfect complement to the meal. Overall, everything was great. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food came out quickly without sacrificing quality. Whether you're a fan of yakitori or ramen, this place does it right. It was a busy Saturday evening and I was so glad I made a reservation through Open Table. We only had to wait about 5 minutes. The food was great and was served in a timely matter after we ordered. Our server was also very nice and efficient. He came y the table often to inquire if everything was ok. We had a great experience.
