Chamas do Brazil, which means “Flames of Brazil,” is an authentic Brazilian Steakhouse. Our special meat roasting method is based on the old gaucho tradition from several centuries ago, known as churrasco. Churrasco was originated in Southern Brazil, where Gauchos (Brazilian Cowboys) pierced different types of meat and grilled them over open flamed pits. The concept is to serve a wide variety of different cuts of beef, lamb, pork, and chicken to each diner individually right at their table. A meal typically begins with a trip to our amazing salad bar, which consist of over 60 different items of fresh vegetables, homemade dressings, imported cheeses, cured meat, and etc., along with several hot dishes. We also serve a selection of side dishes at your table. The main course will start when you flip your coaster-sized chip from the red side to the green side, signaling the Gaucho Chefs that you’re ready to be served. To stop the service of meat, flip the chip to the red side.

    Our first but not last experience here. We started with the lamb as an appetizer. Cooked to perfection. I continued with the lamb. My wife had the lobster ravioli, the sauce was delicious. My sister-in-law had the shrimp scampi it was outstanding. My niece had the ribeye and it was a perfect cut of beef. Oh and the menus light up. This has taken out top spot for best dinning in DFW.

    My wife and I went to Meehan's Chophouse for our second anniversary and everything was great. Great food, great service and great ambiance. We'll definitely continue visiting this place and would 100% recommend to friends and family

    Overall super solid and will return. Ken was our waiter, and he (and the rest of the staff) were really great. Thoughts on what we had: ▪️MANGO MEZCALRITA: expensive smoky orange juice ▪️ LUCA PARETTI PROSECCO: really good ▪️ PRETZEL BREAD: super cute and yummy ▪️ TUNA TARTARE: solid and would order again ▪️ CATCH ROLL: loved ▪️ FILET SKEWER: lots of good flavor, might get again ▪️ MEDITERRANEAN BRANZINO: didn’t finish and wouldn’t order again but probably personal taste here.     Felt a little rushed. This was for my son's birthday and would have liked to have been asked about desserts and for a slightly slower service, appetizer and meals served at the same time. There were 4 of us and three meals came out about 5 minutes before mine. So, I was just left sitting there.
