Very good steak, not great. Amazing wine list, but more expensive in general than comparable steakhouses in other cities.

Great experience and great food. I took my girlfriend here for an anniversary. Definitely gonna go here again.

Our server gave us amazing recommendations and provided Great Service! The Paillard lightly breaded chicken / nicoise style salad / lemon beurre blanc will change your life:)

This was my second visit to Shinsei and I think it was better than the first visit! Our waitress was amazing!! It seemed she had been there a while and knew everything!! I loved her! We started with the pork dumplings and Hamachi and Pear appetizer along with Katina’s Sticky Rice…I think the sticky rice was my favorite with Hamachi coming in a close second!! We also tried the Coconut Chicken Jalapeño Poppers. For dinner I had the miso plat cod and my husband had the baby back ribs, absolutely everything was delicious. My Seabass was cooked to perfection and of course for dessert I had cotton candy. I mean is there a better dessert? LOL

Food is consistently excellent. Service is personal, attentive, and warm. Never have to worry about quality of either.
