Grunauer is one of our favorite spots in Kansas City! The service is outstanding - they always go the extra mile to see that we're happy. The food is delicious 10/10. Already looking forward to our next visit.

My wife and I made a reservation for Friday night December 20th at 5:30. Friday nights are generally busy in KC restaurants. We were seated promptly and the waitress (Olivia) came right over. She was pleasant, and helpful, telling us some of our needed dining details. The food we ordered came out quickly, and was just as we had ordered. The food was excellent (we both had Panko fried shrimp dinner with a dinner salad. The restaurant was vibrant, busy, bustling, but not too loud. We will be back. The food and drinks were very tasty, service was good and I appreciate all the vegetarian options that were available! It was just my partner and I and we got a nice little table near the window, which we both enjoyed! It was our first time and will definitely be back. I got the Yule cocktail and mushroom sammy, he got fish and chips and a sour. A little bit expensive (about $70 before tip in total), but worth it for the quality and experience.

The Kingdom’s Greetings Holiday Pop-Up was definitely a fun time! You can expect carefully crafted cocktails, festive and creative decor + photo ops and small bites. We finally found a holiday pop-up that both me and my husband can get excited about! I think the reservation fee of $25 should be per reservation rather than per person. However, parking was very included. We’ll be back next year and we will bring some friends along!
