- HHeidiNew York City •4 reviews5.0Dined todayParty of 6; we all enjoyed our experience at The Cooperage. Notably the wings were outstanding; artichoke dip, scrumptious; burrata, very sharable. Moving onto the entrees, the fried chicken sandwich was amazing, the seabass super fresh. 4 of us had salads (Brown Derby, steak salad, chinese chicken salad). All were healthy and huge portions. Service was awesome, though I'd like so see our dishes/glasses cleared sooner (we eventually stacked everything up in the middle of the table to get the hint).More infoThe Cooperage American GrillePrice: Expensive• American• Walnut Creek•4.4

- NNatashaVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •5 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoKokkari never disappoints. I eat here regularly for business but this dinner was with my husband. We had the baked Feta with cherry tomatoes and the feta salad to start. All the starters are amazing and it is always difficult to choose among them. My husband had the lamb special - a whole lamb was roasted on site in the large fireplace spit in the dining room, and I had the lamb souvlaki. Both dishes were amazing. But the thing that sets Kokkari apart is the service. The servers have all been there for years and have a deft sense of engagement and timing. if you have questions, they are knowledgeable about every aspect of the menu and wine list. If you need to conduct business or have a romantic meal, they move around you with elegance and grace. We will go back as often as they will have us.More infoKokkari EstiatorioPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Financial District / Embarcadero•4.8
- DDioSacramento / Sacramento Valley •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoMy wife didn’t want a big spectacle on her 60th birthday, so we decided to have a quiet lunch at Rooftop. She ordered a salad topped with a grilled salmon. I had the sea bass with risotto, and my daughter had the spicy rigatoni with chicken. We also ordered the shrimp tacos (4 tacos). All of the dishes we ordered were delicious. The grilled salmon that came with the salad was cooked just right. The sea bass was as good as and the melted cheese in the risotto was just right and not overpowering the overall flavor of the dish. And my daughter had no complaints on the rigatoni as she cleaned up her plate. And saving the best for last was the shrimp tacos. The shrimp tasted so delicious and fresh that I wished we had more, but with all the food we had, the shrimp tacos outshined them all. And not to forget our server, (I forgot his name God bless his soul) he was very sweet and personable, with a happy demeanor. Hope they pay him well because he was very attentive to our needs. Overall, my wife’s birthday celebration, even though it wasn’t elaborate, it was a very nice experience and we will definitely will come back if we’re in the area. I highly recommend this restaurant.More infoRooftop - Walnut CreekPrice: Expensive• American• Walnut Creek•4.5
- TTHOMASSan Francisco Bay Area •2 reviews5.0Dined on 9 Feb 2025I have to give Neumanali a stellar review, but I almost hate to do so because it’s one of those hidden gems that you want to keep secret so you can kind of keep it for yourself. I had been wanting to try this restaurant for quite some time and unfortunately had to cancel a prior reservation due to an unforeseen event. This time around, we were able to keep our reservation and were so glad to get to experience this fantastic restaurant in downtown Hayward. We drove out from San Ramon and I can assure you it is worth driving a lot further for. The service from the one man who was holding down the entire serving area by himself was excellent. The ambience and noise level were great; it was easy to have a conversation at our table, yet there was still some nice music in the background. The food was absolutely delicious. (Highly recommend the prosciutto wrapped prawns as an appetizer). We were also surprised to see a reasonably priced wine list which included some top-notch wines. I had a house salad, very tasty, and we both had salmon which was cooked to perfection. We ended the meal with the house bread pudding, which was just the right amount of moist. Overall, a really great experience. To provide a balanced review, if there is any negative, it is the tight parking in the back, but what can you do about that? Just be prepared for it.More infoNeumanaliPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Hayward•4.8
