- SSuzieVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •4 reviews5.0Dined todayGoogle maps you to the back entrance. So we started off being guided in the back way by a staff member. Our waiter was great. The food was outstanding! We ate family style. Starters included the wedge salad (a very exciting wedge), lamb kofte (not too lamby), pimento cheese dip, salmon carpaccio, and tuna tataki. The tuna was the least favorite of the group. For entrees we enjoyed the crispy trout lettuce cups (great for a group and something you might find at an upscale Vietnamese restaurant) and the corned pork shank (totally unique and great flavor combinations). Dessert included the snickers bar (the weakest link in our meal) and the tiramisu (anything but boring and traditional—our group loved it). We also enjoyed a variety of cocktails off both the regular and dessert menus. Our friend had been obsessing about not getting into sweet basil once he realized it was Michelin rated but the food and experience at Mountain standard more than made up for it. Hard to imagine sweet basil is that much better.More infoMountain StandardPrice: Expensive• American• Vail•4.8
- TToddPhiladelphia County •39 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoGreat atmosphere and the food is exceptional and they have some unique offerings. Service is helpful, attentive, but not intrusive. We had a high top table by the bar but it was a very reasonable noise level and had plenty of space. If you like Japanese cuisine, This is a must visit when in Carbondale. Great for Gluten Free needs as well with a separate menu that is almost as large as the regular menuMore infoIzakaya CarbondalePrice: Expensive• Japanese• Carbondale•4.9
- CChristineVIPWashington, D.C. Area •4 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe had a fabulous meal- foccacia, burrata, scallop crudo, lamb rigatoni, lobster linguine, and the bisteca (filet and NY strip)- and everything was exceptional. We enjoyed the Budino and limoncello (optional that is by the glass) for dessert. The service was incredibly warm and professional (like at all of Bobby Stuckey’s establishments)- we brought a young baby and the team was friendly and accommodating, especially our lead server Elena. We had 2 bottles of Italian wines that were new-to-us varietals recommended by the somm (Riler), and both paired beautifully with the meal. The space and ambiance balance warmth and comfort with a bit of drama and grandeur given the ceiling height and large windows. Unique among other restaurant spaces in Vail Village. Tavernetta is now at the top of our list among other Vail favorites!More infoTavernetta VailPrice: Moderate• Italian• Vail•4.7
