Best Date Night Restaurants in Basalt

We always love it here! So many wonderful items to choose from on the menu. On our “must” list every time we visit Aspen.

We went for the first time last night for the Valentines tasting menu and it was great! The place is very sophisticated but not intimidating. The food and service were both right on point. We enjoyed everything on the tasting menu. The beef course was cooked to perfection. The potato that came with it was a bit dry and bland, but that would be the only thing that was not wonderful about the entire meal we find it to be a welcome addition to the valley’s food scene, and can’t wait to go back.

Las Montañas is absolutely amazing in all regards. We love coming here and do so often. My one complaint and something that slightly deters us from coming more often, is the prices. A meal for a family of 5 (3 children) was $350 minus tip. That’s just really steep for a Mexican food restaurant and for people like us who live in Aspen full time.

Great variety of Japanese specialties and sushi in a convenient location with fun vibe. Our favorites included the scallop appetizer and just about any roll or nigiri/sashimi on the menu. Service was friendly and efficient.

We had a great time. Lindsay was super. She explained the ingredients and helped us with our food allergies. Drinks were creative. Recommend this restaurant highly.
