The Izakaya is located on the subterranean level of Momotaro. The Izakaya and its shared-plates pub-inspired menu echoes the Yokocho street scene of Tokyo. Narrow lounge-inspired ‘alleys’ around a central bar bedecked with hand-painted Japanese menus, moody neon lights, and vintage Tokyo street signs set the scene for the Izakaya’s direct nod to Tokyo’s most famous post-war black markets. Dark, energetic, and ripe with expectation, the Izakaya additionally offers a 30-seat bar featuring crafted cocktails, sakes, and a quality selection of Japanese whiskeys. What a culinary dining experience this was with amazing Authentic Roman food. I went there with a friend who grew up in Italy and was completely impressed by how Rich and Authentic that the menu honored the Roman region of Italy. The quality of the food was superb. Our waiter guided us through wonderful selections and we had a five course meal that blew our minds and pallet. Restaraunt has a wonderful open modern concept, but still felt cozy at the same time. We sat by the open kitchen concept and felt like we were a part of the cooking experience. Absolutely love this spot will be going back.

There wasn’t anything I ordered that I didn’t like. I truly enjoyed every bite. My favorite thing on the menu ……. Pretty much everything. My husband and I ordered the duck & goat spring rolls, the potstickers, crab Rangoon, pickled cucumbers, duck fried rice, fried chicken dish, and the beef with broccoli. Oh wait and we added the pork belly! We wanted to try as much as we could since it was our first time there and we are also visiting from NYC. Book the reservation and enjoy 🤍
