- KKiaVIPWashington, D.C. Area •3 reviews4.0Dined 4 days agoI wanted to treat my family to a nice dinner at a Black owned restaurant for MLK Day and we found Ms. Toya’s online. We made reservations for 3pm and parked around the corner in a garage. It was a very convenient 3-5 minute walk away. The hostess greeted us and we were seated within ten minutes of our arrival. Our server, Natalie, was friendly and pretty attentive. Our party of four ordered several appetizers and all were delicious. Deviled eggs plain and with shrimp, spinach dip w/crabmeat, crab claws, and 2 orders of bayou rolls. Very tasty! Our entrees were crab cake sandwich, French toast brunch, chicken and waffles, and the bayou pasta. Everyone enjoyed their meals but I will note that the crab cake sandwich came out with the wrong toppings initially and my eggs needed to be cooked more. Not a big deal really but the sandwich took a while because it needed to be remade. Our server gave us a dessert to make up for the mix up with the sandwich, and that was appreciated. Loved the music and ambiance at the restaurant, and we will return. Overall, we really enjoyed the vibe, the meal, and the service. Value was pretty good but the appetizers were on the expensive side based on the portions we received. Entrees were appropriately priced. A 20% gratuity was automatically added to our bill and it came to just under $300. We did not drink alcohol.More infoMiss Toya's Creole House - Silver SpringPrice: Moderate• Creole / Cajun / Southern• Silver Spring•4.5

- AAnnVIPWashington, D.C. Area •9 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe love Pacci’s a local independently owned small restaurant. Originally known for its Neapolitan pizza, which is still great, now encompasses a basic Italian menu with daily specials. Our party enjoyed lasagna- “flavorful meat, delicious ricotta, maybe a little too much red sauce”, calzone- “good dough, nice amount of cheese and meat, could have benefitted from more sauce or a separate dipping sauce”, and picatta style barrumundi- “moist flavorful fish, light lemon butter sauce with plenty of capers.” Service was prompt and friendly, not intrusive, could have a little more attentive.More infoPacci's TrattoriaPrice: Moderate• Italian• Silver Spring•4.6
- NNoelWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined 6 days agoCaruso’s Pike and Rose is fantastic. Beau and Jamal took excellent care of us when we visited for our anniversary. Our favorite bites were the chicken parm, shrimp scampi, and the Oreo cheesecake (on special - if they don’t have it when you go, we recommend the Creme brûlée). Our favorite part of Caruso’s is how cozy and homey it feels - truly old school Italian vibes. The staff is excellent and they give great recommendations. You can’t go wrong at Caruso’s.More infoCaruso's Grocery - Pike & RosePrice: Expensive• Italian• North Bethesda•4.5

We were taken to the table I had requested and greeted by server Orlando. He was an exemplary server throughout the evening. He was the first server in all of my Julii experiences who suggested that the salads are shareable among the entire table - and the Salad Greque was fabulous - all 3 of us enjoyed. All of the entrees were beautifully prepared and presented - the cod, steak frites and the crispy trout which I enjoyed tremendously. A fantastic restaurant - I highly recommend it!More infoJuliiPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• North Bethesda•4.8
