- MMeganPhiladelphia County •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoGoing to Gnocchi is always a fantastic experience. This visit we were celebrating my mom’s birthday with her two grandkids. They expertly handled having two kids and even managed to make my mom’s birthday extra special with their delicious panna cotta. The food is excellent. The Bolognese is like my grandmom used to make it. And the bites I had of the special mushroom gnocchi was excellent. Special thanks for the chef for accommodating a dairy allergy which I know is especially difficult with Italian cuisine. We will be back soon!More infoGnocchiPrice: Moderate• Italian• Queen Village•4.8

Warm hospitality, exceptional service, live music, and a cozy ambiance complemented perfectly cooked dishes like barbecue ribs, jumbo shrimp, and crawfish mac and cheese. Thoughtful touches, like surprise birthday beignets, added to the charm. Great food, drinks, and value—I can’t wait to return!More infoThe Twisted TailPrice: Moderate• American• Society Hill•4.6
- CCindyPhiladelphia County •2 reviews5.0Dined on 14 Dec 2024Roxanne’s New Chapter is Even Better Than Before! Last night, I had the pleasure of dining at Roxanne in its new location, and let me tell you—it’s a revelation. While the original spot was already exceptional, this new chapter elevates the experience in every way. The tasting menu strikes the perfect balance of honoring beloved classics while introducing bold new favorites. Longtime fans will be thrilled to see signature dishes like the scallop and duck make a triumphant return, each as flawless as ever. But the new additions are equally dazzling—particularly the rigatoni, octopus, and scallop, each a masterclass in flavor and technique. And then there’s the cheeseburger. Magical doesn’t even begin to cover it. Imagine all your expectations of a burger, then multiply them by ten. The genius behind it all is Chef Alex - an original in every sense. Her creativity is matched only by her warmth, making the dining experience feel both elevated and personal. She’s not just redefining what great food is—she’s redefining how it feels to enjoy it. If you haven’t been to the new Roxanne, run, don’t walk. It’s a culinary triumph that honors its past while paving the way for an even brighter future.More infoRoxannePrice: Expensive• American• Queen Village•4.7
