The deep dish pizzas make you eat one slice too many because it’s so good! Nice beer, wine and cocktail selection.More infoThe Shop - Rancho BernardoPrice: Moderate• Pizzeria• Poway / Rancho Bernardo•4.5

The open bar flowed freely. Brunch for 6 people cost $1047.More infoEvents at Rancho Bernardo InnPrice: Very Expensive• American• Poway / Rancho Bernardo•4.6
- CCarolynSan Diego •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoVery lovely ambiance and service. Food was excellent. The meat in the beef Wellingtion was truly exceptional. The squash soup, bland and boring, was the only disappointment. For the prix fixe dinner of $130 on Christmas Eve, some bread should have been offered, I think. We are looking forward to another meal there in the future.More infoCollette’sPrice: Very Expensive• Farm-to-table• Escondido•4.7
- DdennisSan Diego •10 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe have been to Carvers many times. Outstanding service and food. Prices a little heavy on certain items but not a deal breaker. The restaurant has a great ambiance...not too big and not too small. Very comfortable decor and surroundings. One complaint this time around. I had a beautiful looking Peppercorn topped NY Steak but it had major area of tough chewing. I didn't complain because what I DID eat, was very tasty and tender. Plus, it was Christmas Eve and I didn't want to bring up any negatives. We'll definitely be back...but I just won't have the steak. Sometimes there are stumbling blocks to complete satisfaction. They have other superior items on the menu from A to Z. Until next time.... D. L. BuschMore infoCarvers Steaks & ChopsPrice: Expensive• Steak• Poway / Rancho Bernardo•4.7
