Sweet Lula’s Restaurant is a BYOB avant-garde unique Brunch and Dinner romantic cosy dining experience in Pitman, New Jersey. We won an award for our famous sweet potato sausage corn chowder. We are close to Rowan University.We are family owned and operated by executive chef Anthony Asbury (a very famous Puppeteer) he has an Emmy displayed in the restaurant and has worked with Jim Henson and Steven Spielberg. We also play movies which we project onto a large screen which is very unique ! We are a free-flowing scratch kitchen plus veggie, vegan, and gluten-free friendly. Keep your eyes out for Chef Anthony's British wife, Lula (a previous famous pop star and Model in the 80s), she may be singing a few songs on Friday and Saturday nights. We open Thursday to Sunday for Dinner 5pm-9pm and Brunch Saturdays and Sundays 10am-3pm. Come try our food and see what everyone is talking about. Steak and Seafood is our speciality.     Mannino's Cucina Italiana never disappoints. Went for dinner after seeing a show at the Pitman Theatre. The atmosphere was very festive since it was Christmastime and it gave the feeling good cheer. When you enter you are immediately immersed into the aroma of delicious food being prepared. The appetizers, entrees, and desserts are all wonderful. I have never been disappointed. It is a BYOB and make sure to make reservations. Great place for a date night or just to catch up with a few friends.

    Went with a group of ladies for the Sunday brunch. The place was decorated beautifully being it was Christmas time. The food was wonderful. The selection was great and the service was very very good. We will definitely be back again.

    The food and the service were very good although we were surprised when we were told by the server that we needed to order our apps and dinner at the same time since they were a paper ticket establishment. We enjoyed everything we had until the bill came and our bill went up another $10 for some service fee we were not informed of until then. Unfortunately, after a lovely evening, we walked away with a sour taste.
