The complementary rolls with tallow butter were delicious. My husband got the filet. He said it was good, nothing super special but still delicious and no complaints. Routinely, we had our anniversary dinner at Swizzle. However, when we were unsuccessfully at securing a reservation at Swizzle, our search for an alternate led us to Proof on Main-we are glad we did! Not only were we able to get a last minute reservation on X-mas eve, but it wasn't packed, adding to the intimate ambience we were hoping to experience. Our waiter, was not only knowledgeable, but he was verry attentive and detailed with his recommendations; which were spot-on.
