A Family Tradition For Over 90 YearsMrs. Knott’s Chicken Dinner Restaurant first opened in 1934 with Mrs. Knott and her children serving the first customers in their tea room. We had our first visit and New Year dinner and it was very nice. We received great service and the ambience was amazing. We came a bit early, and were offered to await our time at the bar or be seated early. We decided to be seated early and were sat at a beautiful window seat overlooking the holiday lights at the LB Convention Center. I had the Betty Paige and it was delicious, the champagne car was to either take as a shot or add in. I chose to add-in to savor it with my meal. Specialties we chose were the Crispy Maitake Mushrooms, which I would choose over and over again! And the Flannery Beef Hangar Steak, which was also quite good. We will be back for more cocktails and fare. It was amazing!

Good food- just very busy so service not so great as had to ask for silverware and napkins and one food order that took too long and was not how ordered. But they offered free pie slices to make up for it.

We got sat 5 minutes after we arrived and we were early. They tried sitting us in a little 2 seat booth but I’m a bit bigger and it was uncomfortable so they gave us a table. The food was excellent and servers were nice.
