Blacklock is a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set in an old brothel, we take the best meat in the country from the award winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. Beautiful romantic restaurant and stunning decor. Food delicious although slightly small portion sizes, and I felt that the pork (main course on the set lunch menu) should have come with at least some vegetables, without needing to order an extra side. However, the service was great, staff lovely, and overall a memorable experience for our anniversary. We will definitely go back for special occasions!

Loved the experience but meal was a bit ruined by adding heavily fishy broccoli as a side to a beef cheek dish. We didn’t realise the side came with the fishy topping. :( Thought the portions of main were small for price point. Charming staff and really glad we visited! Thanks!
