- AAvaWashington, D.C. Area •1 review4.0Dined 1 day agoOur time at BK High Low today was lovely! It was the perfect way to spend a birthday with good friends. We sat in the garden on the coldest day of the year but mostly were cozy beside our frozen toes, which is just the nature of being anywhere in the cold. The tea was delicious and they had such a diverse selection. The scones were fluffy and beautifully textured but we were not impressed with the sandwiches. The desserts were good but we agreed the tea and scones are the best part. I will say that we were a party of 7 outside so we were harder to reach but the service was not outstanding. All in all, I would surely recommend the Grand Vanderbilt at least once for the special experience that full afternoon tea is. It doesn't hurt that the HIgh Low's parlor spaces are so delightful! I will return again for cream tea without the extra food but I am so glad I chose BHL for our get-together:)More infoBrooklyn High LowPrice: Very Expensive• Afternoon Tea• Prospect Heights•4.5

- AAngelNew York City •7 reviews5.0Dined on 28 Dec 2024Aska delivers an extraordinary culinary journey in a beautifully restored 1860s Williamsburg warehouse. Chef Fredrik Berselius masterfully blends Scandinavian traditions with local Northeast ingredients in a refined 12-14 course tasting menu. The intimate setting of just 10 tables creates the perfect ambiance, with impeccable yet approachable service. Each dish showcases subtle, delicate flavors that reflect both technical excellence and creative innovation. While portions are modest, the expertly crafted dishes and wine pairings create an unforgettable fine dining experience worthy of its two Michelin stars.More infoASKAPrice: Very Expensive• Nordic• Williamsburg•4.9
- MMatthewNew York City •7 reviews5.0Dined on 26 Dec 2024Love our meal at strange delight. The room is surprisingly beautiful. The cocktails were very well-made. And the dishes we tried were wonderful. Prices are definitely high, the gin ramos fizz is $10 more than when it was reviewed in August, but I would return. The food, drinks and ambulance were wonderful.More infoStrange DelightPrice: Expensive• Oyster Bar• Fort Greene•4.7
