Way back in 1975, the Sail Loft lit the fire for Steve Silverstein, who went on to open nearly 40 restaurants. Located in the quintessential seaside village of Padanaram, it was the neighborhood place where you could get a good (strong) drink, chef prepared comfort food and relax in a convivial atmosphere with familiar faces. The Sail Loft was everyone’s favorite place; it was a hangout where some came for food and others for drink.When the Sail Loft became available in 2021, Steve jumped on the opportunity to take the wheel. Steve and his wife Judy transformed the Sail Loft into an elevated neighborhood restaurant with a distinct updated boatyard feel. We were seated in the heated patio on a sunny, cold afternoon. The room was plenty warm and quieter than the main dining area. The chairs were cold but our server, Kayley brought us blankets to sit on! It made all the difference and we enjoyed a leisurely lunch. The food was served hot and perfectly prepared. Well done and Kayley was extremely nice and efficient! We will most certainly return.

Our lunch was delicous. Service was very good. Our server Jillian was very good. Only one thing disappointing and that was the crème brûlée, it seemed very liquified and not custard like. Overall everything was very good.

Miso & Brown Butter Whitefish, a couple of Blackberry Curves and about a 3 hour catchup with some longtime Voc-Tech friends....service, food, atmosphere and company were impeccable. Thank you Chef Rego and team!
