- CChristineDenver / Colorado •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoWe had great communication before our reservation and was able to bump up our time a smidge on Christmas Eve, after a short wait at the bar once we arrived. The service was impeccable. We were only disappointed that they had run out of the one dessert we were dying to try. The apple éclair was a nice consolation. We definitely plan to go back as we just learned they have a "movie night special" that caught our attention.More infoBistro VendomePrice: Moderate• French• Park Hill•4.7

Great atmosphere and Christmas decor, wonderful piano music and even better strolling carolers followed by the jazz combo playing Christmas tunes. Price was high but the experience could not be duplicated. That said, I miss the smartly uniformed doormen and found it took quite a while to get a drink and we were seated at least 30 minutes late. Also, the newly renovated Ellington's is disappointing with such poor acoustics and "all white" decor. Sorry to say that the hotel as a whole is no longer the best in Denver.More infoThe Grand Atrium at the Brown PalacePrice: Very Expensive• Afternoon Tea• Downtown / LoDo•4.5

I've had it twice now and my dinner companion had it too and LOVED IT !! As always the service and surroundings were warm and welcoming. I'm so lucky to have this GEM so close.More infoSatchel's on 6thPrice: Very Expensive• American• Cherry Creek•4.9
