Osteria Giulia sprung to life in our imaginations as a tribute to Italian traditions of the past. We wanted to create one simple, beautiful thing. Somewhere outside of your busy life, outside of your surroundings, outside of time. An environment, an experience, an entire evening. Osteria Giulia is intimate, warm and familiar. We’ve revelled in her every detail. We’ve established a rarified menu focusing on Northern Italian cuisine and delicate coastal, Mediterranean flavour. Giulia is a new imagining of what an Italian restaurant can be. It always was the place of our dreams, the reason for our collaboration, and the culmination of—and conduit for—our collective passion. With Chef Kyle Rindinella at the helm the menu takes inspiration directly from Rome, remaining as true to the traditional culinary practices as possible. Opened in 2017. Michelin-recommended since 2022.We first imagined Aloette to be the perfect diner that we’d want to dine in – a menu with a great burger paired with a fantastic and fun wine list, a long row of bar stools facing the bar and the kitchen, and an energetic atmosphere accented with an old school hip hop playlist. The buzz of the dining room mirrors the energy of the street on Spadina Avenue; the dining room itself mimics a train’s dining car. It’s kind of a bistro, kind of a diner, internationally inspired menu which is also representative of the diverse culture in Toronto.Brunch at Aloette was something we said we’d never do. But the city kept asking and we’re glad to be a new staple in the Queen West neighbourhood for mimosas, chicken and waffles, and piping hot coffees. First time doing this, and the experience was phenomenal. I am not a tea person, but I enjoyed the opportunity to chat with my family while enjoying soft music and good food. I would recommend asking guests if it's the first time, for I had no idea I had to dilute the last part of my tea hehe. Great environment, great snowy day with a cozy view.

Great food, service and ambiance… but a terrible reservation system. It may seem like a small thing — but it’s the first experience. The OpenTable reservation system is terrible. We booked two months in advance — which led to innumerable texts, emails, push-notifications, reminders, and multiple confirmations of “I know we asked yesterday… and the day before… and last week… but are you *really* still coming?”. (It takes a lot to get me to complain about a reservation system… but it’s *really* that bad.) However, once you’re seated, the food, service and ambiance of the place is absolutely wonderful. Would highly recommend the dining experience.

The minute you enter Linny’s you know a lovely experience awaits! The ambience is gorgeous and service exceptional. From the menu, we chose the Friday Evening Special option as a way to taste many house favourites. So many delicious items!!! A tiny disappointment … our steak was chewy and more fat than protein. It was an expensive evening but one we all thoroughly enjoyed. A venue to put on the list for special occasions.

Incredible! From start to finish, we loved our meal! We had a dozen fresh and meaty oysters, a few cocktails, and for dinner I had the trumpet mushroom dish, and my partner had the pork collar. We loved the meal so much that we got both desserts! We will be back soon!

Went for my birthday and the space has definitely got a renovation since my last visit in 2021. The food was equally as delicious, service had changed a bit (I do miss the old cutlery) but I understand with the demand and expansion since the WELL deserved Micheline recognition. The food was FABULOUS the octopus was a stand out texture perfectly cook the sala Verda had heat, zest, and herbaceous however, the star were the beans! DESSERT was my favourite course strawberries are my favourite fruits so confidently the gelato was right up my alley. I knew it was incredibly well done when my brother who notoriously dislikes strawberry “ice cream” of any sorts kept matching my spoon for spoon (will be back for the Torta). My only wish was to maybe talk about more with the Som and the employees. I know it’s hard to sometimes be able too in service and some guest just rather not be spoken to during their stay. I kept looking for an opening with everyone who touched our table didn’t work out. CJ was a wonderful server, paced our dishes and drinks, took care of my family wonderfully. Also loved that the table was communicated that it was “ours” until a specific time. It was a wonderfully birthday, thank you.
