- DDeborahWashington, D.C. Area •15 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe had a reservation and were seated within a few minutes of our arrival - just enough time for us to get a view of the buffet. The buffet was well staffed and had a wide variety of items to choose from. Since this was our first visit, the hostess who seated us gave good description of buffet and explained the menus and beverages. Our waiter, Aaron, was just as good, introducing himself, explaining and taking our drink orders, and keeping track of the needs of our table and I'm sure, the others he was responsible for. A manager, Dean, stopped by to answer our questions about Founding Farmer and to make sure we had what we needed and our expectations were being met. Both he and our waiter Aaron were very pleasant, helpful, and met our needs in the midst of a very busy environment.More infoFounding Farmers VA: TysonsPrice: Moderate• American• Tysons Corner / McLean•4.4
- MmargaretWashington, D.C. Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWent for Christmas dinner. Foggy Bottom was one of the two locations that had the a’ la carte menu which was why I picked the location. It was a little crowded waiting for our reservation time and they were behind but we expected that and didn’t mind. There were three of us and we all were happy with our meals. We had wings and the corn bread skillet for appetizers. The wings were really good. I’m not a fan of corn in my cornbread but it still tasted good. I had fried shrimp with fries, coleslaw and corn bread. The shrimp and fries were really good. The coleslaw was a little blah. Our other two diners had a platter with ribs, cheeseburger sliders and fried chicken and coleslaw. They both loved theirs but also were not fans of the coleslaw. The staff was friendly and professional and fast. We enjoyed talking to them and the two different sets of patrons sitting beside us. We had a great Christmas dinner despite it not being an “traditional” Christmas dinner and would come back again.More infoFounding Farmers DC: Foggy BottomPrice: Moderate• American• Foggy Bottom•4.5
- NNatalieWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoVery busy night for FF! We went there tonight on Christmas, which also happens to be my birthday. There was a mix up with the prime rib and they ended up being out of it but didn’t find out until my family had their food. I work in a restaurant so I know these things happen sometimes. They were extremely accommodating. The manager, Chris, and our server (her name just slipped from my mind!) went above and beyond! They made sure that we left feeling happy and that’s all we could really ask for! The food was delicious as always! P.s- Please add a nonalcoholic beer option to your menu! 😁More infoFounding Farmers MD: PotomacPrice: Moderate• American• Rockville•4.4

Nice selection of music. Reasonably priced. Will return.More infoGlenwood's - Stanford Grill: RockvillePrice: Moderate• American• Rockville•4.7
- CCaroleWashington, D.C. Area •11 reviews5.0Dined on 18 Dec 2024Met a friend at NYAJoe for lunch. Zach, our waiter, was personable and enjoyable to chat with. He was there when we needed something and gone when we didn't which was great. My guest got a bloody mary and a sandwich - she enjoyed both. I got a delicious Proseco, one of the best I've ever had and I order them often, and a flatbread with bacon and blue cheese. Flatbread was delicious but so big I couldnt finish it. The big surprise was the $64 check which came to $76 w/ tip. So almost $100 for lunch for two w/ one drink each and $18 each for the food we ate. Next time we'll drink before we go! Seriously, why is it IMPOSSIBLE to find a full menu online. I like to try to decide what I will order ahead of time so time spent w/ a friend is not taken up w/ looking at the menu. The groupings were odd online - Group Meals, Family Meals, but nothing for just 2 people coming for lunch. Also no lisiting of drinks and prices. While I commend the noise level as being lower than almost any restaurant I have gone to in years, it was a bit aggravating that the TV that was pointed to where I was sitting had a soccer game on. Would much rather have had nothing on or news and leave the soccer game for the guys at the bar to watch. Last, but certainly not least, the ladies bathroom needs a refresh. The paint on the inside of the doors has peeled. Wouldnt be much of a dollar investment to sand the doors a bit and put a new coat of paint on.More infoNot Your Average Joe's BethesdaPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• North Bethesda•4.1
