- MMelissaSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoI am from NY and grew up eating Jewish deli food. Grossmans is a find that lives up to my NY standards!! It is truly excellent food, they make their own bagels pita and challah which is the best I have found in the Bay Area. We love the latkes and smoked salmon and cream cheese and pickles are top notch. The staff, the cozy atmosphere, and the park outside do not disappoint!!More infoGrossman's Noshery & BarPrice: Moderate• Comfort Food• Santa Rosa•4.7
- RRoxanaVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •22 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe arrived early for our reservation, which was no problem, and were offered to try the enclosed, outdoor, heated patio. It was beautiful with warm lighting and not a hint of the December chill outside. My daughter and I shared the fig/arugula salad, duck confit and flounder. We expected two tiny duck legs but they were leg quarters with more meat than we could eat due to the duck’s richness. A good sharing dish because of that. The salted fig carmel trifle is a must if you’re a chocolate mousse fan. The Puebla de Sonoma cocktail was good but if you don’t care for a sweet drink, ask for less agave. I was worried about spiciness and asked for less heat but the regular amount would have been fine and actually better. Our server was attentive and friendly and the entire staff was on top of things. Our water never got below half and empty dishes were swept away quickly, but not in a rushed, hurry up way. My receipt says my server was ‘August’s A’ and she was wonderful.More infothe girl & the fig - SonomaPrice: Expensive• French• Sonoma•4.8

The Mill’s location is enchanting—nestled beside a fast-moving creek. Parking was convenient in a nearby lot near the bridge leading to a charming complex of restaurants and shops. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the owner (Sanjeev), who escorted us to a cozy table for two right at the creek’s edge. The lunch menu was thoughtfully curated, offering a variety of dishes and beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. On the owner’s recommendation, we started with their special bread, a favorite among many Yelpers. It was fresh, perfectly seasoned with olive oil, garlic, and parsley—absolutely delicious! For our main courses, we had the clam chowder and the spicy chicken salad. Both dishes were flavorful, satisfying, and generously portioned. Whether you’re on a wine-tasting weekend or simply a local out for a scenic drive, we wholeheartedly recommend The Mill at Glen Ellen. It’s the kind of place that combines excellent food, picturesque views, and genuine hospitality to create a memorable dining experience.More infoThe Mill at Glen EllenPrice: Expensive• American• Glen Ellen•4.8
- GGregSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined 6 days agoAmazingly, Augie's French does NOT have a Cesar Salad on the menu. I know, unheard of, right? While that, in and of itself, is reason enough to celebrate Angie's with 5 stars, the rest of the menu is well conceived, and well executed. Nothing groundbreaking, but it's a bistro, so that is also welcome. This is about standard offerings, that deliver what they promise. Pretty much the definition of a bistro and the reason why I'll return to Augie's often.More infoAugie's FrenchPrice: Moderate• French• Santa Rosa•4.7
