The place was very busy on a Saturday night and we were thankful for making an online reservation which was super easy to do. I was a little disappointed that after indicating "birthday" in the occasion field of the reservation request that no one mentioned it nor did we even get seated in the DR but my wife didn't care so.... The server was very knowledgeable but not the most attentive. She walked by our drinks on the bar twice with empty hands even though we were 10 feet from the bar and didn't come to ask how our meals were or if we needed anything. I had to ask motion for fresh pepper before she did. Now that we've addressed those very minor issues let's talk about the good. The cocktails were unique and very good. I had Guinesss on tap amd my wife enjoyed a couple fo the house cocktails both of which she loved and now wants to make at home. Oh oh... The food was even better. I had lamb shank (again) and it might have been better the second time if possible. My wife had prime rib and suffice to say it was one of the rare times I've seen her finish her meal. Dessert was the home made black forest and it was moist, light and delicious. We're already looking forward to our next visit. Only complaint, it’s always freezing in there no matter what time of the year I go and the seats by the stairs are the worst seat in the house and I somehow always get sat there.
