Best Comfort Food Restaurants in American Canyon

We had Eve as our server. She immediately greeted us when we sat down and provided exceptional service.  My husband, and I both had the salmon which was outstanding.

A lovely experience--the garden area was warm and lively. The food was delicious, and the wait staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent!

I was a little surprised at the clam chowder, which is shellfish in a broth, not the creamy kind I am used to. It was good, but it is a lot of work to separate the clams from their shells, dispose of the shells, then dig out the clams from withinthe broth. Interesting experience! The shrimp risotto was excellent, the Dry Creek Sauvignon Blanc accompanied it well, and to finish, the affogato was really nice. Mency was attentive and professional. And we had a perfect table, in the corner overlooking the water. The weather was drizzly and foggy, which the restaurant can't control (I'm sure they wish they could), so I'll try to be back when I can enjoy the view.

We had bahn mi sandwiches, noodle salad and the oxtail pappardelle. The pasta was the winner of the dishes - delicious and comfort food! That said the other dishes were also great. Noodle salad was fresh and flavorful. Bahn mi sandwiches were chowed down by our guests. Great experience with excellent service and an ecclectic menu.

Great food, great wine, great service. We hope to go back when we are in Napa.
