Blue Island never disappoints. We celebrated Christmas Eve with friends and enjoyed good food, service and ambiance. The clam chowder is to die for.

We love coming here as a family! Food and service are great! Our Server, Sarah, was amazing. We just didn’t understand why we couldn’t get a To go box for the pork belly we waited for for a very long time! By time they served us, we were too full. We didn’t want to waste the food so we asked if we could take it home. We would have been very discrete because we understand it would set a bad precedent. We took the food anyway and left a very large Christmas tip! Merry Christmas and please consider making decisions on a case by case basis in the future? Thank you!

The food was delicious. Our steaks were cooked to perfection. The wine selection was exquisite. We enjoyed the sides of gnocchi and also brussel sprouts, and also loved the wedge salad. The only food complaint is the oysters Rockefeller. Two small oysters for $23 and there was too much breadcrumbs that overpowered the oyster. Our server and the manager both checked on us multiple times and we got a little background on our wine choice and other wines that family makes, so it was interesting. Great service, great experience.

We were 9 family members celebrating Christmas and had lovely food with an excellent waiter. We all want to return soon. The lamb and filets got top reviews, as well as the butter fish and salmon. The restaurant was quite busy, but the atmosphere was warm and cozy. It was a night for our family to remember.
