Best Casual Restaurants in Nutley

Married to an Italian who missed grandma’s feast of the seven fishes. Finally found a restaurant close to home that served it on Christmas Eve and it did not disappoint! 10/10 absolutely amazing! While a 3 hour dinner isn’t for everyone, it’s truly an experience! Service was outstanding, food was incredible, overall fantastic! Will definitely be back before next Christmas. Sarah was perfect! And the 2 managers we interacted with (by choice to share the positive) were so hospitable. Great job by all!

From the moment I walked in with my parents we knew we would enjoy our reservation. The staff was kind very helpful and knew the menu well. Food was great different options and the holiday music was a perfect diverse genre playlist. I’m so glad I went

Food was excellent. Every dish we had was better than the last. The appetizers we tried were the tuna crudo, shisitos, mushroom dip, tuna dip, salmon and furikake fries. They were all delicious. The fries were a unique idea and a favorite. The Temaki were unique, delicious, and beautiful. We tried so many of them and I would Order them all again. Faves though were the Tuna, the yellowtail with scallion, the lobster, the fried oyster and the Triple which is a huge splurge. We will Definitely be back!

Have been to Bella Luce several times before because the food is always good, and they did not disappoint this time, either. The soups were obviously home made and good. The main courses were also good. The food server was attentive and personable. With the bar situated in the center, the noise level can be higher than we would like. This time, however; the noise was coming from a large table - not much they can do about that. My only disappointment is the ambiance. The section we were in was brightly lit and it was chilly, as evidenced by the space heater they had running. Hopefully, this is a temporary issue. We will return.

I loved this place!! The wonderful man in my life brought me here for the first time the other night, and It was a wonderful little place. The atmosphere, people, staff members, and ambiance were simply wonderful!! The food is so good, and the portions are no joke, I ordered the Lobster Fettuccine, and it was so delicious. I was able to eat a good amount, take the rest home. I did try to Tiramisu, and I felt like I was in HEAVEN!! It was silky, delicious, not too overpowering, and just melted in my mouth. I 100% recommend this place. Perfect for a first date, night out, or family dinner. 🥰
