- SSherriNashville •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoGiovanni's is one of our favorite's in Nashville but our experience last evening was even better than usual. The calamari & meatballs to start were the perfect starter with THE best marinara sauce. The saffron risotto with scallops was luscious with the perfect amount of saffron. Lasagna & pappardelle pasta is always fantastic and did not disappoint this time. Our server, Kevin, was knowledgable and funny and recommended the perfect wine to go with our meal. I don't know the name of the maitre d but he is excellent at what he does and makes us feel welcome every time we dine there.More infoGiovanni's Ristorante - Mid TownPrice: Expensive• Italian• Music Row•4.8
- MMarkNew York City •6 reviews4.0Dined 6 days agoCame here on Monday 12/16 based on my brother’s recommendation. Enjoyed a memorable meal with excellent service by our waitress and got to interact with the chef of the day. It was a nice experience and I appreciated the way both talked us through the 5 course tasting menu. Loved the rabbit dish and the filet mignon add on in place of the lamb rack. My two favorites though all the dishes were very good. Had the option of 5 or 7 course but had to stop at 5 to leave room for desert. Mmmm. The only drawback was that the restaurant recently announced they would be closing at the end of the year. Wish they could remain open for the next time we come to Nashville, but hope they will find a new venture to visit.More infoThe Chef and IPrice: Expensive• Contemporary Southern• Music Row•4.5
- SStefanyVIPNashville •18 reviews5.0Dined on 27 Nov 2024Ordered the Thanksgiving take home pack and I can’t say enough good things about it. The packaging was great (sturdy and easy to reheat in the oven), absolutely everything tasted amazing - you could really tell they didn’t take any shortcuts cooking the food, the quantity was very generous, and the overall variety was exceptional. I will definitely do this again and will certainly make a point to come into the restaurant as well based on how great everything was here. Really amazing!More infoGathrePrice: Expensive• Contemporary Italian• Midtown•3.8
