- SScottNew York City •4 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe were looking for a new place that had great food, service and ambiance. Maiella hit a home run on all three. The menu has so many great options to choose from. The table-side cacio e pepe was one of the best we’ve had. It’s a nice add to have it made right at your table. We had chicken parm and branzino and both were equally delicious. They come with either a side of pasta or vegetables. For desert we had cheesecake and Affogato. This just sealed the deal for for an already amazing meal. Additionally, I am very big on customer service and they make sure they deliver in this area. Anthony , the manager, is a really nice guy. Stopped at our table to ensure everything met our expectations. He shared some stories with us about the restaurant and food. He makes sure all your expectations are met (even exceeded) and what sets this place apart from other restaurants in the area. We look forward to Maiella being a regular place for us and can’t wait to go back and try some other dishes. Lastly, the the ambiance with the views of NYC make this a place you won’t mind sitting for an hour or two. If you haven’t already, definitely try this gem.More infoMaiella - LICPrice: Expensive• Italian• Long Island City•4.5

Had the jumbo shrimp cocktail chilled to start, very fresh. We primarily wanted to try the beef options. Filet mignon, rib eye, beef rib, lamb and pork belly were very tender. Picanha was not as tender. Salad bar was great. Music was a little on the party side but not unbearable. Valet parking. Will come again.More infoFogo de Chão - Elmhurst, Queens NYPrice: Moderate• Brazilian• Elmhurst•4.2

- CColleenNew York City •3 reviews5.0Dined on 12 Nov 2024This is one of my favorite restaurants. Delicious sushi with some Thai influences. Intimate setting. The chefs prepare the meal in front of you, they have a great sense of humor. They refill your sake continuously through the night. They are so welcoming and so clearly enjoy what they do! You leave feeling full but not uncomfortably so. It is a great value.More infoSushi on Me - Jackson HeightsPrice: Very Expensive• Sushi• Jackson Heights•4.9
