Easily one of the best dining experiences if not the best in the city. The quality of the food, service and drinks are all on a different level to dining rooms with treble the pricing structure. Very friendly, helpful and efficient service in a pleasant venue at the intersection of almost traffic free streets. A fine variety of skilfully produced small dishes from a (sensibly) fairly limited menu. All the dishes were very well done, some exceptionally so. We had beer but the wine list looked interesting. It all made for a very enjoyable lunch.

Friendly welcome at the door, taking care of our wet coats. Waitress (Izzy) was lovely, explaining the menu and looking after us really well the whole evening. Some disturbance from a nearby table, when 2 customers were taking videos with glaring phone lights, was quickly dealt with by the staff. Special presentation of dessert for my birthday, with a complimentary glass of port. A great evening. Thank you.

Great food, lovely service, incredible value on the bistro menu, and the a la carte also excellent. Kala does all the important things brilliantly and without fuss.

Party of 9 visited. Booked in advance and good communication from restaurant. Pre ordered food which was easier and could add names to each individual order was really helpful! Food was fantastic, really tasty and waiter was super helpful. Would definitely recommend.
