The restaurant is named after America’s most famous founding father, Benjamin Franklin. While he was pinnacle in America’s birth, he also became the first ambassador to France. While on trips to Paris, he would wine and dine with the best of them and when he returned, he would bring back the French culture, food and wine, and share it with our new nation. Bianco Rosso is a real find. It doesn’t look great and the music was too loud, but the food and the service were FANTASTIC! We live in NYC where there is no shortage of wonderful Italian restaurants. Bianco Rosso is clearly far better than most and at a much better price. I was there with my daughter for her birthday. We had a charming young lady as our server. We decided to pick two appetizers and share them. We asked our server what she would recommend and beamed and said, “Oh, the Lamb Lollipops and the Salmon Tatar!”. We took her advice. Great suggestions. Based on the strength of her recommendations, we asked her what two entrees she would recommend. Penne with sweet sausage and chicken picatta. Both outstanding. On to dessert. Profiteroles and carrot cake she said. Now this was the real test. I don’t like carrot cake and never order it. But we were on a roll, so profiteroles and carrot cake it was. Both were amazingly good. Overall, a wonderful and memorable meal! I am very glad that we found Bianco Rosso and will definitely go back.
