Best Casual Restaurants in Lewes

Enjoyed a lovely meal with friends at the Ivy, Brighton on Tuesday for my birthday. The staff were all so welcoming and friendly, the service was fantastic, gorgeous ambience and delicious food. We had the 2 course Heritage meal which was such good value, and had a glass of complementary English sparkling wine each and a dessert with candle as it was my birthday! Great service and lovely food. Especially the flower pot dessert.

The menu was as good and as varied as ever, they had a Pancake specials, which we would have loved to try but sadly we did not have the time. I had the chicken schnitzel which was also a special and my wife had the duck curry, the food was excellent. The Bill’s lager was very refreshing.

Lovely meal. We had the burger and ham egg and chips and was very tasty and the best we have had for a while. Really stunning new dining area and great service.
