- PPattiOrlando / Central Florida East •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoCovey’s cocktails are delicious and always innovative. Our Tortellini Michelle was really great, cooked to perfection with tortellini al dente, steak tender, and gravy sooo good and not over-salted which happens too often in restaurants. The Rye-Spice cocktail was perfect—a touch of sweet but not too much. The All Things Vice cocktail with Titos, chai, pumpkin puree, espresso, Baileys with a dash of nutmeg on top was a heavenly after dinner drink to sip slowly. The key lime pie, a complete contrast to the All Things Vice, was outstanding and held its own. The lime was flavor of course stood out…you could see the zest in it—but it was not overly tart nor was it sickening sweet. It was perfection. Our server was friendly, knew the menu, and never missed a beat. She mentioned having just graduated (I would assume from college) and there she was, cheerfully working on Christmas, providing exceptional service.More infoCovey Kitchen + CocktailsPrice: Moderate• American• Gainesville•4.5
- SScottTampa / Central Florida West •6 reviews5.0Dined on 24 Dec 2024Christmas Eve dinner at La Cuisine has been a tradition with my family since it opened. It is a beautiful way to connect with family over great food. The food is always the start of the show and has remained excellent since the beginning. With fantastic service in a romantic setting, you couldn't ask for anything more perfect for the holiday. Try the Foie gras on Gingerbread! The roast duck is also very delicious, and the tomato risotto is lush and a must-have!More infoLa Cuisine French RestaurantPrice: Expensive• French• Ocala•4.7
- RCReneeCVIPWashington, D.C. Area •42 reviews5.0Dined on 24 Dec 2024We were here for Christmas Eve dinner and the staff went all out to take wonderful care of us. Really a terrific meal and for a group this size it could not have been better- multiple servers brought our food to the table so that everyone was served at one time; the staff made wonderful suggestions and knew everything about each dish, as well as being friendly and very welcoming. Everything we had was delicious, and several of our party agreed that the staff were the best they had ever encountered. Great job!!!More infoBraised OnionPrice: Moderate• Comfort Food• Ocala•4.5
- GNGNVDiningOrlando / Central Florida East •1 review5.0Dined on 3 Mar 2024The food and service were excellent!! We sat outside, it was a lovely day with the low sound of the piano playing in the background. I ordered the Fish and Grits with an order of Pancakes that came with the bacon or sausage. I requested Turkey Bacon which they did not have. I wish they would have adjusted my bill, for I assume they didn’t have the Turkey Bacon because it never came out and the waitress didn’t mention it. I had to quickly leave, so I didn’t mention it. I highly recommend dining there. FYI, my bill was $35 for Red Fish and Cheesy Grits with 2 Pancakes on the side; no drink. The restaurant next door has an excellent Brunch Buffet for the same cost. I would eat there again because the food was really good and we enjoyed the piano playing and eating outside. I am very happy that there are options for brunch!! Try both!More infoThe Keys Grill & Piano BarPrice: Moderate• American• Gainesville•3.7
